• Présentation de l'éditeur : "The international legal rules regulating civil war present an abiding conundrum: why have states collectively designed standards regulating the conduct of armed conflict within their borders, when such rules are likely to primarily benefit non-governmental armed forces ? To explain the shape of this "civil war regime", Negotiating Civil War adopts a pluralist theoretical approach, adapting insights from a number of International Relations ("IR") research traditions to build a theoretical lens for the empirical analysis that follows in Chapters Three, Four and Five."
