  • The Registry chronicles the legacy of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and their families. The National Registry of Jewish Holocaust Survivors' records and photographs have been transferred to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. to be housed and preserved. The Registry is a data base of more than 80,000 Holocaust survivors and their families living in the United States and Canada. It was established and has been maintained by the American Gathering/Federation of Jewish Holocaust Survivors. This work was still in progress at the time of printing. -- Adapted from introduction.
