Résumé ou extrait
- Does war ever just end ? Is there a so-called endstate? Or does it evolve ? And if it evolves, does it do so naturally or does leadership, or perhaps an exhaustive plan, make the transition from war to peace simpler and more efficient ? What happens if the leader is weak and the plan is lacking ? What happens to the indigenous population affected by the war ? If there is no plan and the leaders are weak, is the natural outcome for the ill-fated inhabitants a political and domestic crisis ? If so, then shouldn't that result be exactly what we should plan on preventing even before the guns begin to shoot ? This book will make an effort to answer these questions and more. It is a look at what happens beyond the guns and steel, beyond bullets and sweat, beyond the confusion and angst of war
