  • Ce travail résume une expérience professionnelle dans le registre de l’information et de la communication : la construction d’une politique d’innovation au Ministère de l’Industrie pendant les années 70 et la mise en place d’une unité de prospective, d’évaluation et de veille technologique (le CPE) au Ministère de la Recherche pendant les années 80, prolongée pendant les années 90-2000 sur le thème de la prospective des religions. L’auteur s’interroge d’abord sur le phénomène « innovation ». Après avoir réfuté deux mythes, celui de l’inspiration prophétique et celui de l’entrepreneur, il replace l’innovation dans un contexte éthologique et montre le rôle de la socianalyse dans les processus innovateurs. Il rend compte également des recherches ethnotechnologiques, qui peuvent servir de fondement à la définition des stratégies innovatrices. Dans une seconde partie, l’auteur explique le cheminement de l’élaboration d’une prospective mondiale du 21ème siècle, publiée en 1990. Il montre comment, en partant de la technique, on peut décrire et anticiper les transformations de civilisation. Il expose ensuite l’extension de cette anticipation à la prospective des religions. Dans la troisième partie, l’auteur recherche les fondements de la pensée anticipatrice, en s’appuyant sur les récents travaux des neurologues et sur la vision contemporaine de l’origine de la vie. La pensée lui apparaît comme ontologiquement anticipatrice. En combinant les notions de reconnaissance et d’individuation, il propose une lecture cohérente de la prospective et de l’innovation. A titre d’illustration, il esquisse en annexe des repères prospectifs de l’évolution actuelle.
  • The thesis is a summary of a professional experience in the field of information and communication, namely the building of an innovation policy in the French ministry of industry in the 70’s and the creation and management of the foresight unit in the ministry of research and technology in the 80’s, followed by a personal work on religion foresight in the 90’s and 2000’s. The first question relates to the nature of innovation. The author refutes two myths : the prophetic role of the inventor and the entrepreneur’s historical responsibility. He places the innovation in an ethological context and shows the role of “socioanalysis” in the innovation process. He points also the “ethnotechnological” research, which may serve as a basis for policies definitions. In a second part, the author describes the elaboration of a world foresight for the 21st century, published in 1990. He shows how, from a technological starting point, the evolutions of civilizations can be described. He then expands his method to religion foresight. In a third part, the author goes in search of the foundations of anticipatory thinking, starting from recent neuroscience results and the present scientific description of the origins of life. He sees thinking as being in essence an anticipation process. Combining the concepts of recognition and individuation, he invites to a new coherent reading of innovation and foresight. As an illustration, he draws in an annex some landmarks of contemporary evolution.
